                                        Answer
      The Badain Jaran desert is the third biggest desert in China and part of the Alashan plateau. It belongs to a belt of dry regions, which extends of the Sahara over front and central Asia up to the desert Gobi. In this sea from sand, as largely as Switzerland, meters of high megadunes exist to a to a large extent unbesiedelten landscape more than 100 large seas between up to 400. These desert waters are fed by the groundwater, which is stored as seeping width units precipitation water in the dunes and at their foot as spring water withdraws.
